We overmold or use sealed 2-pin connectors (M8, M12, Deutsch DT, or a potted gland) with the two cores color-coded and the transition fully sealed to IP67/IP68. We also build 3-core, 4-core, and multi-core versions to the same rating.

Overmolding injects a thermoplastic or thermoset material around the connector-to-cable transition, encapsulating the terminals and bonding to the cable jacket. This eliminates the gap where water normally wicks in, provides strain relief, and — with the right material and tooling — achieves a repeatable IP67, IP68, or IP69K seal without a separate gasket that can be omitted during assembly.
