Section 301 duties attach to China-origin goods. Assemblies produced in our Philippines facility are not China-origin, so that programme does not apply to them — but the normal MFN duty for the tariff line still does, and origin depends on where substantial transformation actually happens.

US customers may avoid Section 301 import duties that can apply to China-origin harnesses by manufacturing qualifying assemblies in the Philippines instead. Actual landed-cost savings depend on product classification, current tariff treatment, material content, and logistics.
The quality system and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 workmanship standard are the same in both plants, but the certificates are issued to our China manufacturing entity — the Philippines site is not separately certified. Ask us for the certificate and the scope it covers.
Our Philippines facility handles production orders for wire harnesses and cable assemblies. This includes automotive, industrial, and general-purpose assemblies. Complex prototyping is typically done in China, with production transferred to the Philippines when the program is qualified.
