Legacy Section 301 duties attach to China-origin goods. Assemblies produced in our Philippines facility are not China-origin, so that programme does not apply to them — but since July 24, 2026 most Philippine goods carry a separate 12.5% Section 301 duty, the normal MFN duty for the tariff line still applies, and origin depends on where substantial transformation actually happens.

China+1 Manufacturing FAQ
Qualifying Philippine-origin assemblies are outside the legacy China-specific Section 301 duties that can apply to China-origin harnesses, but most Philippine goods have carried a separate 12.5% Section 301 forced-labor duty since July 24, 2026, as have most Chinese goods. The gap depends on your tariff line, current tariff treatment, material content, and logistics, so compute it for your own part.
The quality system and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 workmanship standard are the same in both plants, but the certificates are issued to our China manufacturing entity — the Philippines site is not separately certified. Ask us for the certificate and the scope it covers.
Our Philippines facility handles production orders for wire harnesses and cable assemblies. This includes automotive, industrial, and general-purpose assemblies. Complex prototyping is typically done in China, with production transferred to the Philippines when the program is qualified.
We use our China facility for rapid prototyping and development, with 48-hour capability for standard, ready-to-build designs and exact timing confirmed at quote, then transfer production to the Philippines for US-bound orders.
