The SVHC candidate list is updated twice yearly with substances identified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic to reproduction, or environmentally persistent. Our bi-annual reviews ensure current candidate list compliance. Supplier declarations verify supply chain compliance for all incoming materials.

REACH is the EU regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It requires tracking and reporting of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in products sold in the EU.
SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern) are chemicals identified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic to reproduction, or environmentally persistent. If present above 0.1% by weight, they must be disclosed to customers.
We require REACH compliance declarations from suppliers and track the evolving SVHC candidate list. We can provide SVHC content declarations for assemblies and notify customers of any reportable substances.
RoHS bans specific substances outright. REACH focuses on disclosure and safe use of chemicals. A product can be RoHS compliant but still contain reportable SVHCs under REACH. Both are required for EU market.
